OLIVER'S ANTICS...

The boys have been enjoying getting up and seeing what Oliver the elf has been up to at night while they sleep... only a few more nights with our little friend before he heads back to the north pole!

We celebrated the December birthdays this past weekend.  Happy Birthday to Declan, Andrew & Marilyn who all celebrate within a few days of each other!  It was a great night out at the farm with delicious food, exceptional company and lots of fun!!!

What a fun night it was!!! The boys had a blast and it was great to have Santa arrive for an early visit.  Declan loves being in front of the camera as you can see by the big grins!!!  Great time and even more special to have my folks part of the celebration as well, they loved every minute of it :)

ELF ON THE SHELF...

We have adopted a new addition to the Ward family for the holiday season, Oliver the elf arrived this morning from the North Pole to keep watch and report back to "The Big Guy" as to the naughty vs nice scale at the Wards.  From what I remember hearing, elves have mischievous tendencies so we'll see what Oliver gets up to around our place over the next few weeks... ;o)

ZAMBONI...

 

How exciting... the boys got to drive the Zamboni at one of the rinks that Andrew plays at during lunch.  What a great afternoon for the kids to watch daddy play and drive the Zamboni!!!

Our pirate and bug had a successful night out trick or treating despite the cold! Hopefully the chinook is coming soon!!!!  Hope that everyone had a safe a fun Halloween :)

WINTER IN OCTOBER???!!!

 

 

Well old man winter has arrived early in Calgary and the boys have been enjoying their outdoor play in the snow!

THANKSGIVING....

 

 

 

Declan decided he would like to tackle a drumstick this year, didn't do too bad with it either!  We had a great dinner and afternoon.  We hope that all of our friends and family had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well! xo

Since we have had an amazing end to our summer out West, the boys have been really enjoying it as you can see!!!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

 

 

Declan started his first day of school on the 14th of September 2012!!!  Can't believe he has started pre-school.  He was so ready to go that on the meet and greet day when parents could stay, he looked at me and said " bye mom !" Then when he was to go on his own, he quickly asked, "mom, I go by myself today right ?" Not even 4 and giving me the boot already!  He is really enjoying it and we are so pleased that it has been a smooth transition for him :)

SUNDAY FOOTBALL/GOLF WITH DAD...

Liam really enjoys having a snuggle when he gets up from his nap, here he is all tucked in with Andrew, his blankie and Brutus ( his stuffed bulldog ) and something to snack on :)

BABY BLAKE...

Congrats to Dan & Jacqueline on the safe arrival of their new son Blake!!! He arrived on Tuesday September 11th, weighing in at 6lbs, 15ozs.  Everyone is now home and settling into life as a family of 3, well I guess 4 if you include Abby :) Well done guys, we are soooo happy for you xoxo
