Christmas 2015...

We enjoyed our first Christmas in our new home as well as our day out at the farm.  It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine, great food and family!  Wishing all of our loved ones a very happy new year filled with abundance, joy & treasured moments ~ may 2016 be the best year yet!!!

More hockey...

Love this little Warrior!

We have been enjoying the outdoor rinks a little more this year.  Sunday was a great day so shinny was the choice activity for many families at one of the local rinks.  The other two dads on the ice were on our team last year and always enjoy seeing them and their families!

Liam's Christmas concert...

Well these littles tykes did a super job!!!  Sang 7 songs with not much coaching and were fantastic :)  Even a visit from Mrs. Claus happened after they sang their little hearts out!

Lordy lordy, look who's 40!!!

Well the big guy turned 40 this year and Declan 7 so we had a combined birthday celebration!  The house was packed with little kids and big kids and it was so fun to see what we had designed the new place for come to fruition ~ so much fun and loved seeing some faces that we haven't seen in a very long time.  Lots of laughs and a great way to kick off the holiday season!!!

Perogies...

Perogie day with my good friend Danielle.  We have done this in years past but this year was special as we christened our new kitchen with the labor of love that goes into making these delectable bites!!! Liam was happy to roll and cut the dough with a little help from the veteran perogie master! xoxo

Sword is still there...

This sword has been carried around like this for almost two years now!  He takes it everywhere and gets noticed quite often ~ mostly by the dads lol!

Halloween 2015...

Halloween 2015!!!  It was a great night ~ lots of candy, haunted houses and spooky sounds filled the evening!

Special Helper...

At Liam's preschool, all the children participate as the "special helper" several times throughout the school year.  Liam loved his chance to be the special helper and all the fun things that go along with it from ringing the tidy up bell to reciting the alphabet and helping with the experiment that was being introduced that day.  His teacher is amazing and we are so pleased that both the boys have had the chance to have this wonderful person teach them in their early school years :)

Thanksgiving 2015...

Mom & Dad were able to join us for Thanksgiving this year!  We really enjoyed their visit and the boys always love seeing their Omi & Opa!!!  Even managed to squeeze in a trip to Banff which we have never done with them so that was really great :)

Beautiful...

Love these shots I took a few days ago - the sunsets and sunrises we are able to see now from the new place are truly magnificent!  The above is the beautiful Bow River down in Bowness Park.

Bobcat Bliss...

Well it won't be long before our neighbours move in and Liam has loved being able to watch all the machines go back and forth.  He is always chatting away with the guys, and they seem to think its pretty cute as he sits on his perch and supervises lol!

Calgary Old Timers...

During our evaluation time at the rink, one of Randy's old hockey buddies brought in this picture to show me. He ran one of the rinks in town for years and recognized our last name on the list for evaluations and asked if I was related so than the conversation started :) Andrew is right in the middle, probably around 10 yrs old and our good friend Cam is bottom left.  It is so amazing to see the history and I hope that our families will be sharing these types of pictures down the road.  Randy is top left, fourth from the end and Cam's dad Jim is top left, second from the end.  

Novice...

Well evaluations are in full swing and Declan will be playing Novice this year.  Looking forward to a fun season and watching him zip around the ice!

First Day of School...

Oh my goodness!!! Where has the time gone???  Our boys are growing up so fast ~ Declan off to Gr.1 and Liam second year of Preschool :)  We are so proud of these guys and are excited to see what the year will bring each of them. xoxo

Outdoor Movie...

Drive-In at the Driving range was a great night!  Bouncy houses, popcorn and a candy bar, glow sticks and The Incredibles movie!  Fun night!

First Tooth...

Declan has lost his first tooth and couldn't be more excited about it!!!  The one right beside it shouldn't be much longer...

Chillin' at the cabin...

It is really awesome that we are able to get away to this great spot for the day! The boys enjoyed a ride on "Redman", riding on the paddle boat and just hanging out ~ beautiful day to be outside enjoying this beautiful space!!!

Summer fun continued...
